I think he was a bloody man because he killed his master and tricked Rassendyll and stabbed him. He had no principles because he planned to betray his master and offered Rassendyll to get rid of Michael, Sapt, Fritz and the King.

2) How was Sapt frustrated by Michael's clever plan which Johann told them

He told Rassendyll that he would stay the King as there wasn't a hope to rescue the King.

3) Why did the Duke want to marry the Princess?

To be a legal king as his mother wasn’t royal.
